DROPcmdk is our brand, and the Connected Music Development Kit is a term that describes the entire scope of the project. Under the current scope, we have built, or are building, all of the following:

DropChain

A dedicated Layer 2 blockchain build using Arbitrum Orbit. This chain will be used for the registration of all music catalogue that enter the DROPcmdk ecosystem.

UI SDK

The User Interface Software Development Kit will give all builders direct access to all of the User Interface components showcased on drop.audio. This will be able to be deployed using scripts, and will be able to be fully customised with your own fonts, CSS, content and layouts.

Smart Contracts

DROPcmdk has a complex network of smart contracts that sit across various blockchains. All of these will be available to be repurposed, with guides on how to make your connected music site an official part of the DROPcmdk network. These contracts include, but are not limited to:

• erc404 hybrid tokens

Project LaunchPad

We want to help other launch Connected Music Stores just like https://drop.audio. In order to do so, a framework is being created for the release of erc404 hybrid tokens which will help grow, fund and unite new communities, The first of these will be dropped to the users of drop.audio to demonstrate the use-case. including genre-binding, stickers, on-platform rewards, music promotions and more.
